Who We Are
As your local Ace Hardware store, Cook County Home Center opened its doors in September 2015 under the ownership of Nate and Jeff. The guys know all about Grand Marais and the rest of Cook County, and promise to be the "helpful hardware folks" in the area. In addition to all the great Ace Hardware brands, you can also find a full-service lumberyard with an experienced staff. Plus, we cater to contractors, builders, and the do-it-yourself-er. Stop by and let us help you find whatever you need. We promise helping you is the most important thing we have to do today.
We've Expanded!
In March of 2023 we acquired Sawtooth Lumber and have opened Cook County Home Center West. The West store will focus on your construction projects, while the original East Store will remain the ACE Hardware and lumberyard you've come to expect.
